Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the sports of combat. She was a kickboxer, boxer as well as wrestling, before making her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were finished within the first five minutes. She went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian, before heading to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via the first round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first fight as a Bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd had missed weight. However, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her with a TKO after the second round. At Invicta FC21, she was the last bout for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place at UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by using her ground and pound techniques which resulted in a TKO second-round victory. The next time she fought Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd took the win at the start of round one, and was awarded the Performance of the Night Bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award came to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her streak.
